We are the “data controller” for the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Automatically, via cookies and analytics tools

- Google Analytics: if you consent to analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website — for example, which pages are viewed, how long visitors stay, and roughly how they found the site. This data is collected and processed by Google and is typically aggregated/pseudonymised rather than directly identifying you (e.g. via a device/cookie ID rather than your name). Analytics cookies only run if you’ve given consent through our cookie banner.
We do not collect payment card details through our website.
Google Search Console We also use Google Search Console, which shows us how our website performs in Google Search results (e.g. what search terms lead people to our site, and how many people click through). Search Console reports on Google’s own search data and does not collect personal data directly from visitors to our website, so no cookie or consent from you is needed for this.

We do not use your data for marketing emails, texts or calls, and we do not sell or rent your data to third parties.
3. Who we share your data with
We don’t sell your data. We may share it with:
- Service providers who help us run the business and website, such as our website host, our email provider, and website security/plugin services — these providers process data on our instructions and are bound by data protection obligations.
- Google, via: the Google Maps embed on our contact page; Google Fonts used to display the site; Google Analytics (if you consent to analytics cookies), which processes visitor behaviour data; and Google Search Console, which processes search performance data. Google may process limited technical data (e.g. IP address) as part of delivering these services. Google is certified under the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which provides a recognised legal basis for this transfer.
- Professional advisers (e.g. accountant, insurer) where necessary for our legitimate business purposes.
- Authorities, if we’re required to by law (e.g. to comply with a legal obligation or protect our legal rights).
We do not otherwise share, sell or disclose your personal data to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
4. How long we keep your data
We keep enquiry and job records for as long as they remain useful to our business relationship with you — for example, to support warranty claims, insurance queries, repeat bookings, or our own accounting and legal record-keeping obligations.
If you’d like us to delete your data and there’s no legal or contractual reason for us to keep it, contact us using the details above and we will do so.
